About Dr. Vidyut Bhatia
Dr. Vidyut Bhatia brings over 27+ years of experience in paediatrics and paediatric gastroenterology, with a demonstrated track-record in diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver disorders in infants, children, and adolescents.
After completing his MBBS and MD in Pediatrics from the University of Delhi (MBBS – 1997; MD – Pediatrics – 2002), Dr. Bhatia developed expertise in areas including functional gastrointestinal disorders, metabolic and liver disease, paediatric endoscopy, and digestive tract motility disorders.
He is known for a child-friendly approach, taking time to understand parent and child concerns, applying evidence-based protocols, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams (nutrition, hepatology, and paediatric surgery) when required. At Max Saket, he provides comprehensive care—from initial evaluation and diagnostic endoscopy/imaging through to long-term follow-up for chronic digestive illnesses such as celiac disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and inflammatory bowel disease in paediatric age groups.
Dr. Bhatia's philosophy centres on early detection, minimally invasive intervention whenever feasible, and empowering families with knowledge so that children can lead healthier lives. Outside clinical practice, he stays current with advances in paediatric hepatology and GI motility to bring best-practice innovations into his care.
